Design Philosophy

Above all else, landscapes should be suitable. Suitability of design is paramount when providing a refined solution that ages well and become timeless classics. Well suited landscapes achieve a sympathetic and complementary synergy with hosted architectural form, exuding a calm and sophistication as a result.

Influenced by the timeless style of Luis Barragan, Carlo Scarpa and Isamu Noguchi, Cameron Landscape Design Ltd. produce work that is both physically and stylistically durable.

A preference for more essential design aspects such as ergonomic and aesthetic proportions over an adherence to faddish trends results in contemporary landscaped spaces that not only look and age gracefully but also engender a sense of integration, resolution and calm elegance.

Who we are

Cameron Landscapes has entered a new chapter, under the ownership of Sasha Reid and Gabrielle Pritchard, with Nigel Cameron continuing as designer. Together, we’ll continue Cameron Landscape Design’s legacy of enduring, suitable, and sustainable design, creating landscapes that not only sit naturally within their surroundings but also bring lasting joy.

We believe gardens should make life better. Creating an outside space that you love to be in is an investment that will pay off for years to come. Our work continues to balance creativity with craftsmanship, and innovation with respect for place. We want every Cameron Landscapes project to grow more beautiful with time, and to remind people of the simple pleasure of being outside.

Sasha Reid

An award-winning sculptor, designer and artist who has exhibited around the globe, Sasha Reid has a natural affinity for melding texture and space in intriguing ways and creating environments and objects that draw people in.
Sasha has spent most of his working life outside and involved in sculpture; from small intimate works for display in private homes to large outdoor memorials and shared exhibition events. With a deep respect for the environment and his materials, Sasha brings together the raw and manufactured to create depth and visual interest. Through landscaping, planting and clever use of design features, Sasha expertly combines elements to create spaces that are greater than the sum of their parts.

A firm believer that life is better outside in fresh air and open spaces, Sasha loves the outdoors, entertaining and cooking a mean BBQ.
